Cristela is a stand-up comic, writer and producer American. Cristela is best known because of the TV show Cristela which premiered in 2014. She was the first Latina to ever create or write, and then produce, her own program for a television network. She was born in Texas and later moved into Los Angeles to pursue her professional career. She's played guest roles on TV shows like Sons of Anarchy and General Hospital. She also wrote for the TV show Mind of Mencia. Her TV role was both as the host and a performer in 'The View.
