Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist writer, author and anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day." She is a resident of Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's board trustees. In her three decades in reporting, Camerota has covered stories worldwide and nationally, earning the Emmy Award for her breaking reporting on the investigation Roger Stone. Roger Stone, and the most prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for her breaking news coverage of the effects of Hurricane Maria to Puerto Rico. Johnna G. Torsone, from Stamford was appointed Honorary Trustees for her work on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport became board chair following having served on the Board from 2013. Czekaj Farber will replace Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident who has served as chairman of the board since 2015. She continues her service on the board since 2006.
